Rood en Wit, Haarlemsche Cricket Club

Established in 1881

Rood en Wit was founded on June 22, 1881, and is one of the oldest and largest cricket clubs in the Netherlands, with a rich history.

In addition to tradition and sportsmanship, performance and recreation are highly valued. The men's first team will compete in the Hoofdklasse this coming season, the second-highest division of the national league. Ladies 1 compete in the top division.

In the national T20 competitions, the Rood en Wit teams compete in the top division.

The Rood en Wit men's and women's first teams have regularly been champions of the Netherlands throughout their existence, the men for the last time in 1971. The ladies have won the national championship several times in the last 20 years, the most recent being in 2020.

In the last 15 years, various youth teams have also won national championships, both indoors and outdoors.

The technical policy is aimed at a combination of elite sport and grassroots sport. Rood en Wit is known for its friendly atmosphere, solid youth training, strong administrative contributions to the national cricket organization, and its beautiful new facility.
