Welcome to V.O.C.!

V.O.C. is a cricket- and football club in Rotterdam, active since 1 January 1895. The cricket department harbours 4 men's teams, 1 women's XI and 6 youth teams from U9 - U17. The V.O.C. Academy was established a few years ago to enable the youth to play cricket all year long.

V.O.C. has its own indoor cricket nets with 3 lanes and a bowling machine. Outdoors are 2 grounds; 1 being a grass square with 7 strips, the other ground is fully artificial, both the pitch and the field. Three outdoor nets complement this well-equipped accommodation.

V.O.C. is one of 5 clubs with the ODI status, which means lots of international cricket during the season.

In the 2018 season the first men's XI grabbed the national championship for the first time in 24 years.

Our mission is to create room for all members at all levels to enjoy their cricket. We offer all members plenty of opportunities to do that.
Our vision is to play cricket with plenty of teams, which cater for everyone. Take part in the national leagues, and for the first men's XI to achieve the highest with home-grown players.

The V.O.C. Cricket Academy forms a crucial factor in this development. We invest in a professional coaching staff, consisting of former international players and, during the season, also overseas coaches. The Academy is active all year round and wants to bring proper coaching as well as fun to esp. the youth, so they will keep on playing the 'King of Sports'.
