Applause for outgoing chairman
Guido Landheer stepped down as Chairman of the KNCB during the General Meeting on April 18. Under his leadership – despite a financially challenging period – work was done towards greater stability and calm, and the further professionalisation of the organisation and the high-performance structure. During the same period, the number of cricketers in the Netherlands grew by 23%. The Dutch men qualified for a World Championship three times, and the women qualified for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Treasurer Jacques Van Zuydam will act as interim chairman until a new chairman is appointed. Discussions are being held with several candidates.
Fair Play Cup for ACC 1
At the KNCB General Members' Meeting, Mudi Alla Rakha received the Fair Play Cup on behalf of ACC 1 from SGS Chairman Arjen van de Pol.
First copy of Kleefstra Almanac presented
