RCC Crowned National Champions 2026; Hoofdklasse Final on 12 July; Women’s T20 Finals on 5 September
Rotterdam CC, formerly known as Punjab Ghausia, has claimed its third national title. VCC appeared to be in the strongest position heading into the weekend, but suffered an off day against Hermes DVS.
RCC did not let this golden opportunity slip away and defeated HCC by a record margin of 448–179. RCC raced to 157/1 in 18.4 overs (Minhas 94) and eventually reached a total of 448, largely thanks to fellow opener Musa Ahmad, who scored 150 runs. HCC was never really in a position to chase down this total and was bowled out for 179. As a result, RCC deservedly secured its third national title.
In Hoofdklasse A, Salland proved to be the strongest team, while Excelsior ’20 topped Hoofdklasse B. Next Sunday, 12 July, these teams will face each other for the Hoofdklasse championship. The match was originally scheduled to be played at a neutral venue, but both clubs urged that it be held at Excelsior ’20. As both clubs strongly requested this arrangement, the KNCB agreed to their wish.
