- Dutch National Squad trains with the Ludimos platform
- Coaching and player development without boundaries
- Smart scouting to unearth the next Dutch cricketing superstar
The KNCB has joined hands with the Ludimos online cricket coaching platform to empower their cricketing activities with efficiency and effectiveness. The Dutch National Squad consisting of 30 players and 5 coaches will use the Ludimos platform for the next 12 months, bringing structured coaching and development to their players. The Ludimos platform will hopefully be made available to the Dutch Women's squad, Dutch Lions and Dutch Lionesses early next year.
The Dutch National Squad finds itself in a challenging situation with a number of their players and coaches scattered around the world. This results in fragmented communication, training and development. Head Coach Ryan Campbell and Assistant Coach James Hilditch are doing their best to manage this situation using multiple tools and channels.
This is exactly where Ludimos has stepped in. Simplify the coaching process and manage their player development on one centralised platform. Ryan Campbell said: "We worked really well all summer with Ludimos and I look forward to continuing that partnership as we use their great apps to help all of our cricketers to grow and become better players".
Identifying new and exciting talent is of paramount importance to achieve a sustainable growth of cricket in The Netherlands. The KNCB organises youth trials every year to scout for raw talents, with the Ludimos platform, we can take scouting to a whole new level. This year, besides the National Selection Day, the KNCB will also go digital to scout new talent from a much wider and broader audience. Through this online scouting campaign, the KNCB expects to unlock hidden talent and will give everyone the opportunity, even if the player is not linked to a cricket club, to showcase their skills.
High Performance Manager of the KNCB, Roland Lefebvre, stated: "We are excited about the relationship between Ludimos and KNCB. Ludimos have created an innovative coaching platform which helps our national coaches to track and develop our national players. They have also created a scouting campaign for us, and we hope with this initiative a lot of boys, girls and seniors can showcase their skills and get scouted to become the Dutch Lion or Lioness."
Being a Dutch based innovative company, Ludimos is extremely happy to partner with the KNCB. Together both parties will work hard towards growing cricket in The Netherlands for the years to come. Speaking about this partnership, Madan Rajagopal, Founder and CEO of Ludimos said: "This is one of the finest and proudest moments for Team Ludimos. This partnership is a testament that we are headed in the right direction in terms of bringing meaningful technology to cricketers and cricket associations. The KNCB is once again leading the way in brining openness and innovation to their cricketing activities. Today we have sown the seed, and we will see the results of this partnership flourish with fruits in the coming years, not only in The Netherlands, but all over the world."
