Preview
Netherlands Women’s Head coach Shane Deitz: “We have prepared well since the Ireland tour and we feel we can be very competitive throughout the entire tournament. We learnt a lot from that Ireland tour and we will take those lessons learnt into this tournament. It’s an amazing opportunity at a fantastic location which we are really excited about taking head-on. We will be straight into it with a tough first up fixture with Scotland who has some fantastic individual players and will be a tough team to beat, but we feel if we play our best cricket we are in for a good chance. I’m proud of how the team has worked over the last 6 months and now we have no excuses we will just go out play hard, tough cricket and enjoy ourselves.”
