Netherlands Cricket Team Ropes in Global Blockchain Company Nordek (Leo Foundation) as Principal Partner

The Royal Dutch Cricket Association (KNCB) and fintech company Nordek have reached agreement on a multi-year sponsorship agreement. Financial details are not disclosed. Nordek, an international player in the field of blockchain technology and digital payments, will become principal partner of the KNCB. The company will be on the shirt of the Dutch men's team for the first time during the 50-over ICC Cricket World Cup in India in October and November 2023, for which the Dutch team managed to qualify. Nordek has issued a press release to announce the collaboration with the KNCB.

Team Netherlands has arrived in India for a pre- World Cup camp in Bengaluru, where they will play a couple of matches against the Kantaka State team. During the official ICC Support period, which starts on the 28th of September in Thiruvananthapuram, they will face Australia and India. The Dutch qualified for the World Cup earlier in July ahead of teams like two-time World Champions West Indies and Zimbabwe.
