- Netherlands show fighting spirit against Sri Lanka
First time, 214 was not a massive score for the Netherlands, although it looked even less favorable at a score of 28/4. Saqib Zulfiqar (56) and Teja Nidamanuru (48) were doing excellent repair work for the Netherlands in the middle order.
Thanks in part to left arm spinner Clayton Floyd (2-40), the Netherlands clawed their way back into the match; it had Sri Lanka on 81/3 and even on 99/5. In the end, Sri Lanka won by three wickets due to a strong performance by Dasun Shanaka (67 not out).

These matches are important for qualification for the World Cup in 2027. Of the eight participating teams in this global league, four will advance to a Global Qualifier.
