Coach Shane Deitz
“The women are super excited for this tour to Ireland. We have been training and preparing well for five or six months and we’re actually sick of training; we want to play some good international cricket!
It’s a great opportunity to play some really good cricket against a very good team in Ireland and in great conditions. It will be a very good preparation for our European T20 Qualifier in late August.
It’s great to see Heather leading the team for the first time in a few years. She’s a very good attacking player and I expect her to bring a lot of that into her leadership for this team moving forward.
We can’t wait to get going, see everyone in Ireland and play some great cricket! “
Netherlands’ Julia Corder
"The team is really looking forward to playing international cricket again after such a long time without it. We have worked hard over recent months and were able to put extra effort into our skills. This has enabled everyone to make great strides and we are excited for all the challenges ahead."
