The Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB) is pleased to announce Ryan Cook as the interim head coach of the men's national team in replacement of Ryan Campbell, who suffered a cardiac arrest while on a family holiday in England last month. Ryan Campbell is expected to make a full recovery and we hope to welcome him back later this summer.
Ryan Cook is a very well-respected and experienced coach and has recently worked with the Bangladesh cricket team. He is also the Head coach at the Gary Kirsten Cricket Academy in Cape Town. He will closely work together with James Hilditch, Peter Borren and captain Pieter Seelaar.
Ryan Cook: ‘I am honoured to be joining the team and look forward to working with the players and coaches for the next few months. There is an exciting schedule ahead and I aim to help the team from strength to strength’.
