- Squad for the Netherlands A series against Ireland Wolves has been announced

The Netherlands ‘A’ will play the Ireland Wolves side in a three-match series in May after confirmation was given by Sport Ireland that the visiting Dutch side would be exempt from mandatory quarantine.
The three 50-over matches at Oakhill Cricket Club, Co. Wicklow will be played as follows:
• 10 May 2021: Ireland Wolves v Netherlands A - 1st ODM (starting 11.45 CEST)
• 12 May 2021: Ireland Wolves v Netherlands A – 2nd ODM (starting 10.45 CEST)
• 13 May 2021: Ireland Wolves v Netherlands A – 3rd ODM (starting 10.45 CEST)
The matches will be livestreamed and livescored via the Cricket Ireland match centre. No spectators are permitted at games in the Republic under current government restrictions.
Ryan Campbell: “This Netherlands side represents a massive opportunity for these players to put their hands up for selection for the upcoming One Day Internationals against Ireland & Scotland. We have not played an ODI since the clash with Zimbabwe on June 19 & 21, 2019 so we need this group to get up to speed very quickly. It is great to welcome back VCC’s Logan van Beek who will be trying to break into a very competitive fast bowling unit. Stephan Myburgh and Vikram Singh get to battle it out in a head to head contest to partner Max O’Dowd at the top of our batting order whilst we are also giving HCC’s Musa Ahmad an opportunity after being a standout during the pre-season.
Unfortunately, Saqib Zulfiqar was unavailable due to work commitments but remains very much in our plans.”
Squad: Scott Edwards (Captain), Vikramjit Singh, Stephan Myburgh, Ben Cooper, Bas de Leede, Tonny Staal, Aryan Dutt, Logan van Beek, Ryan Klein, Philippe Boissevain, Vivian Kingma, Tobias Visée, Musa Ahmad, Paul van Meekeren
Coaching Staff: Ryan Campbell (Head Coach), James Hilditch (Assistant Coach/Analyst), Pieter Seelaar (Assistant Coach), George Dunlop (Physio)
