Sterre Kalis signs full-time contract in England
Published at 29 October, 2021Dutch international Sterre Kalis signed a full-time contract with the English Northern Diamonds. This marks the first time a Dutch woman has signed a full-time cricket contract.
Kalis comes off a strong season with the England team. Her performance also earned her a spot in the unique The Hundred tournament, where she played for the Northern Superchargers.
Kalis is very excited about this milestone: "I am very happy with this next step. It gives me the opportunity to truly focus, full-time, on cricket and develop myself further, in a professional environment!"
Kalis selected for Women's World Cup Qualifer
